Nursery Teachers Training Diploma (NTT) in Cuttack | ToonDemy

Nursery Teachers Training Programme

A practical, play-based training programme for anyone who wants to teach young children — and do it well.

Apply / Enquire

What is the NTT Programme?

The Nursery Teachers Training Programme is a structured course designed to prepare individuals for a career in early childhood education. It covers child development theory, classroom management, play-based pedagogy, and hands-on teaching practice — all grounded in NEP 2020 and NCF-FS 2022 guidelines.

Unlike generic teaching certificates, our NTT is built by practitioners. The content reflects what actually happens in a preschool classroom — not what looks good on a syllabus.

We offer two tracks: a 1-year Diploma for those entering the field, and a 2-year Advanced Diploma for those who want deeper specialisation. Both include a Teaching Experience Certificate on completion.

What You'll Learn

Child Development Foundations

Understanding how children aged 1.5–6 develop cognitively, socially, emotionally, and physically. Key theorists — Piaget, Vygotsky, Erikson — and what their work means in a real classroom.

Play-Based Pedagogy

Why play is the primary vehicle for learning in the foundational years. How to design play environments, plan structured and free play, and observe children meaningfully during play.

Classroom Management & Daily Rhythm

Setting up a calm, orderly, stimulating classroom. Transition routines, circle time, independent activity periods, and how to manage a group of 15–20 young children without raising your voice.

Language & Literacy Development

How young children acquire language. Phonemic awareness, early reading readiness, storytelling, and how to create a language-rich environment in English and Odia.

NEP 2020 & NCF-FS 2022 in Practice

What India's national education frameworks actually require in a preschool setting — and how to translate policy language into real classroom decisions.

Observation, Documentation & Parent Communication

How to observe children's development systematically, document progress without overwhelming paperwork, and communicate meaningfully with parents.

Who Should Apply

  • Fresh graduates (any stream) considering a career in early childhood education
  • School assistants, anganwadi workers, or daycare helpers who want formal training
  • Working teachers looking to strengthen their understanding of play-based methodology
  • Parents with a background in any field who want to contribute meaningfully to early education

No prior teaching experience required. Commitment to learning and genuine interest in young children is what matters.
